The Dal-G Rebellion was formed after the X-nelian War. The Sandox race divided after Dal-G's revelation against Dorn. Dal-G, exiled, created his small rebel army of constructed droids to help conquer the increasing threat of Dorn's proclaimed secret weapon. Dal-G, in the 5 years in solitude, created only a small number of droids, excluding J-Yel, who joined on his own regard (though his service is a mystery).
