Lego Metroid 'Anima' [Working Title] was previously stated to be an exclusive Flipnote Studio 3D animation (mini-series) for the Nintendo 3DS hand-held console system. The mini-series would be exclusive to the first 100 friends of 001rich100 via the N3DS Friend List -later to be released on YouTube. Although through recent announcements made by 001rich100 on the Lego Metroid Facebook Page, it is not confirmed that the direction of this short series will be rendered in Manga-style story-telling permanently.

With the recent release of what seems to be a prototype before the final rendition of the 1st Chapter, 001rich100 states that the series will continue to render in this format and will take a long process to finalize. The series will feature a unique story that will coincide with the upcoming Lego Metroid (Revamp). Details will be released as the project enters production.

Analysis

Lego Metroid Anima will take place on a range of different planets. One being Daiban and others presumably within the same star system. It is confirmed that Samus will retain her suit design and upgrades, assuming that throughout the episodes Samus will lose those upgrades that will lead up to the events of Lego Metroid (Revamp).
