The Signia Temple appears to be the last known location the X-nelians occupied before their disappearance after the X-nelian War.

Little is known about the Signia Temple, however information about the X-nelians and their history can be scanned in two X-nelian Lores located in different rooms within the temple. Within the two lores, it is revealed that there possibly may have existed two different X-nelian civilizations. In one of the lores, the arrival of Samus is prophesized in the temple when it stated, "We couldn’t sit here idling, so we set the stage for the warrior clad in Chozo armor." This lore could possibly link a connection to the X-nelians and the Chozo.
Several Super Battle Droids and a Dro-Quas occupy the temple, where they infiltrated by mining through the mountain. These droids were seen constructing another Infinitus Drone but ceased production once Samus destroyed them.
Access[]
From the X-nelian Research Facility, it takes Samus approximately three hours to reach Mt. Joffa. A teleporting device leading inside the Signia Temple stages the center of the mountain. There exists a secret hanger in the very last room where Samus' ship can dock.
